Distinguished members,
Greetings from Kanchipuram. It gives me great hope and happiness in communicating with you at this challenging time. I wish and pray for safe health and well-being for all our families. The COVID pandemic has paralyzed us in executing significant activities, such as CME conferences and in-person meetings. Our major contributions and yearlong activities are rescheduled and redefined.
Thanks to the technology which efficiently enabled us to organize e-TNOA PG Teaching Programs, Digital Celebration of TNOA Golden Jubilee, Hybrid Annual General Body Meeting and Installation of new Team, Online CME Programs and many more. EC Meetings through Video Conference took TNOA to the next level with business as usual.
It’s an incredible honour to share with you that our prime journal JOJS Is indexed with “Index Copernicus”. TNOA and I wish all the best and congratulate the editorial team for making it happen amidst hard struggles.
I take this opportunity to thank our honourable members for their generous donation to the TNOA Covid Fund. I am sure this contribution to the needs will mirror our social commitments and noble gestures to humankind.
Few glimpses of this year events with our president are always cherishable, and a memoir which included “TNOA PG Crash Course” 9-11 April 2021 @ Chennai, Inaugural Functions of 24th District Chapter “Chengalpattu Orthopaedic Society” on 13.02.2021 at Chengalpattu and milestone 25th District Chapter “Pudugai Ortho Club” on 28.03.2021 at Pudukkottai.
As we are gearing up for the upcoming year’s online elections, I kindly request all the members update their mobile number and email id.
At this juncture, I also request our members to benefit from the TNOA Professional Indemnity Scheme at a discounted premium with more coverage and enrol at the earliest.
I am kindly reminding the members about the “combined annual meeting of OASIS & TNOA” at Yercaud, Salem, in September 2021, which would be the first of its kind event.
I am looking forward to seeing you all soon at the 11th TNOA Prof TKS Mid-Year CME at Courtallam in August 2021.
Warm Regards,
Dr PT Saravanan
Secretary, TNOA.
